Jack Herer is named after the hemp activist of the same name. Although Jack Herer hails from the USA, this strain was created at the Cannabis Castle in Amsterdam. The Castle is the location where Sensi Seeds creates many of its famous strains. The strain also known as just Jack, is a 50% Haze hybrid with a manageable 75 day flower time. The high of jack is soaring and uplifting while the taste of the cured smoke is smooth and sweet.

Recently I came upon some solid Jack Herer at Kind Meds in the Valley. Usually I pass on Jack Herer because it is a common strain in California dispensaries and to be honest it usually doesnt look that great. This particular version though was respectable. The smell of Jack Herer is very floral, almost unmistakable. From what ive heard, true Jack will fox tail like haze. This version had all the right traits and the high was very energetic and clear. You can smoke it all day and not feel slugish. |

Jack herer is a classic strain that is usually found in most dispensaries repertories. Its most revealing characteristic is its unique sharp sweet smell. The high is usually more up and clear, polar opposite of it indica cousin. Try the herer on your next visit to your local dispensary and you wont be disappointed......unless the grower sucks. |
