OG Kush is known for its distinct pungent lemon-diesel smell and taste. Although there are many “cuts” of OG now on the market, true OG still is tops on many peoples want list. Just like pure sativas, true OG’s are rare because they are not economical for many growers. This strain has a long 65+ day flowering time, the yield is smaller and it is fairly hard to grow correctly. If you come across a batch of True OG Kush be sure to snatch it up!
The lineage of OG Kush is rumored to be a cross between Lemon Thai and Old World Paki Kush.

OG Kush is the strongest, tastiest bud i have ever smoked. There are tons of hybrids out there but true OG characteristics are very discernible. It has a piney, lemony, fuel like smell with a sweet subtle taste. The effect ranges by hybrid but it usually a well balanced high in my experience. For all those smokers not in Cali I highly recommend making the pilgrimage. You will not be disappointed. |

This is definitely the best strain I have ever grown. I was fortunate enough to come across a dozen seeds, all different OG Phenotypes. Usually when you grow seeds your lucky to get 2 in 10 good plants. With this particular batch of OG seeds i had 12/12 homeruns. The best of the 12 was a killer phenotype that leaned more towards the SGV cut but it was still fire. There is a good reason this strain has so much hype. |
